Easy Maintenance Gearbox
The Easy Maintenance Gearbox includes both the Easy Fill and Easy Drain systems.
The Easy Fill plug makes it possible to fill the gearbox in seconds without the mess experienced with other gearboxes. Simply attach the Easy Fill interlocking coupler onto the Easy Fill plug and use your oil delivery system to fill the gearbox. When oil exits the vent holes in the Easy Fill plug, the gearbox is completely filled. The Easy Fill plug is internally vented to eliminate pressure buildup which pushes out and ruins seals in conventional gearboxes. With this system, the gearbox can be completely filled with oil. This eliminates the air in gearboxes which causes condensation and also allows the gears to be fully lubricated at all times.
The Easy Drain plug allows you to drain water from the gearbox in just seconds. It also eliminates all of the mess of maintaining the gearbox. Place a 5/8″ wrench on the plug’s hex pin and give it a 3/4 turn. Drain the water and tighten the hex pin. It’s that simple.
